Supply Chain Coordinator - Groupe Atlantic Romania
General mission:
With a customer-oriented mindset, Supply Chain Coordinator is the ambassador of customers inside the factory organization. His / her mission is to match production and logistic constraints with customer expectations. To succeed this matching, the mission involved two scopes:
First, management of order book with the creation, check and monitoring of sales orders (lead time, transport conditions and sales prices). He / She has to be a good communicant to inform customers about status of their orders. In addition to ensure the right level of stock for the incoming periods, the Supply Chain Coordinator have to be based on demand forecasts to maintain appropriate demand coverage. The second part deals on production planning activity. Here the mission consists of fulfil the production planning every week by taking into consideration the production capacity and constrains. Once the production planning is built, the Supply Chain Coordinator have to validate the planning with production manager by raising the customer voice during this discussion with production. The Supply Chain Coordinator reports to Supply Chain manager.
Support the start of the Plant:
- In collaboration with project manager: design and setup all the process related to sales order creation and monitoring.
- Same expectations related to production planning validation.
- Be a leader regarding sales and production planning activities into the teamSAP and software implementation: be involved into the training to be ready to manage the complete workflow in SAP related to sales validation and follow up, plus, production planning workflow.
- Involved as Supply Chain representative in local topics (costs control, HR, safety, purchasing, manufacturing …) to support local teams and plant director for strategic decisions.
Operation and manufacturing plan:
- Involved in S&OP process: support supply chain manager in the analysis of the demand forecast and challenge these ones to obtain the best accuracy as possible.
- Take the lead on production plan validation in collaboration with production manager: take initiative to maintain the optimal demand coverage in spite of production and logistic constrains.
- Work closely with procurement team to share them the priorities, maintain optimal level of raw material stock and avoid shortages or over stock.
- Support production team to replenish the production in case of crisis and inform customers.
- In certain case be ready to negotiate appropriate delivery date with them.
- Attend to internal meeting to share visibility on orderbook situation to the team.Involved in Phase In / Phase out projects to avoid phase-out stock of finish product and raw materials.
Sales and shipment activities:
- Be a good communicant (English / Romanian) with factory customers.
- Capacity of negotiation about transportation conditions, and lead time with customersIn collaboration with purchasing team, look for appropriate carrier in terms of quality of services and price according to destination.
- Create new partnership with transportation companies adapted to the factory needs, challenge quality of service and transport cost regularly.
- Manage transport and customs declarations for domestic and international shipments.
Group Communication:
- Contribute to conveying the group culture on the site.
- Support the implementation of new guidelines and initiatives.
- Follow continuous improvement guidelines and group requirements for Supply chain activities.

- Service rate.

- On-time delivery (DOT).
- Stock coverage for finish goods.
- Average delivery time.
- Transportation cost.
Know-how and hard skills:
Analytical and risk management skills:
- Know to ask the good questions and documents, to analyse them and take a right decision in a short time.
- Comfortable with the figures.
Logistics:
- Know to monitor stock level and logistic parameters.
Transportation:
- General knowledge about general conditions (Incoterms, container types, ports, legals conditions, …).
- Calculate / make a loading plan.
Accounting and financial skills:
- Be aware of profitability topics, and cost impacts.
IT and digital skills:
- Basic level in Excel (mandatory).
- SAP is a plus.
Management and leadership:
- Ability to take responsibilities and support the team when is needed.
- Comfortable to build reports and to share main ideas in a short meeting.
- Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
Languages:
- Fluent English.

Education:
- Bachelor / master’s degree
Relevant experience:
- Minimum 3 years in international industrial environments.
