Site Director (Brasov)
Our client is an international group of French origin, specialist in metal transformation and assembly for over 25 years and offering a wide range of industrial services in order to bring expertise to various fields of activity.
As part of its international growth, the group is searching for a Site Director in Brasov.
The main mission of the Site Director is: organize and lead all actions aimed at ensuring the operational activities of the company, while ensuring the safety of personnel and continuously adjusting resources and industrial availability to meet customer demand. Provide very hands-on leadership for the activities and contribute to strategic thinking about the company's evolution and its offerings, with a focus on continuous improvement. Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and promote a process-oriented and risk-based approach.
- Oversee the company's operating account (including simulations and extrapolations, and keeping it up-to-date);
- Promote the acceleration of workflows by enhancing equipment flexibility and workshop operational methods, as well as the industrial management system, with a constant focus on preserving cash flow;
- Define, communicate, and monitor compliance with operating budgets, as well as investment budgets, in close collaboration with the General Management;
- Control expenses and production costs;
- Manage production activities broadly, from commercial phases and industrialization to shipments, while adhering to the company's S-Q-C-D (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards and objectives;
- Adapt industrial resources to production needs and new technologies, continually striving to improve overall plant productivity;
- Lead industrial development initiatives and strengthen the company's development capabilities;
- Ensure the availability of technical resources and their proper functioning (maintenance);
- Supervise activities related to the Supply Chain, from component procurement to the shipment of finished products;
- Implement and enforce the Quality Management System: ensuring commitment compliance, service quality, and product quality;
- Drive improvement initiatives (Methods): technical monitoring, productivity plans, investments, projects, automation, robotics, and layouts;
- Foster employee accountability and involvement, providing opportunities for each individual to progress and advance to a more professional status;
- Act as the driving force behind team professionalization (training, support) in close collaboration with the HR function;
- Facilitate internal communication: regular meetings, ad hoc updates, etc.;
- Encourage individual performance, skill development, recognition, training, and appropriate disciplinary actions;
- Act as the preferred point of contact for employee representative organizations;
- Adhere to HQSE (Health, Quality, Safety, Environment) guidelines;
- Implement the quality system and propose improvements;
- Validate and lead actions within the framework of the Quality Improvement Plan;
- Facilitate quality system reviews and set annual progress objectives;
- Ensure compliance with guidelines and make decisions to reduce risks, both in terms of personnel and resources; this role holds delegated authority for this purpose;
- Implement measures to continuously meet environmental regulations;
- Approve the schedule of internal audits to ensure proper procedure implementation.
- Education: Master Degree - Generalist engineer or mechanic preferred but not required, or equivalent experience;
- Relevant experience in international industrial environments;
