General mission:
The Process Engineer will be in charge of monitoring and optimising the production processes of the IC and EWH line to achieve our objectives of Security, Quality, Production, and Customer Satisfaction.
It will therefore be process/ product referent of a sector integrating processes of IC and boiler making, Chemical degreasing, drying, enamelling and finishing (pentane injection). Monitor the performance indicators and transfer knowledge to production teams in respect of our industrial principles and rules.
Detect problems & possible improvements on the processes o Daily monitoring of product/process issues:
- Monitor and resolve drifts generating inefficiencies (recoveries, scrap, etc.).
- Spend time in the workshop with production, quality & maintenance teams in order to see where the process can be improved.
- Analyse breakdowns and quality crisis.
- Analyse the causes of malfunctions identified on the equipment and implement the necessary corrective actions.
- Seek the relevant parameters.
- Measure the effectiveness of the actions undertaken and ensure the sustainability of what is put in place.
- Follow & monitor the indicators: defect rate; scrap rate; raw material consumptions and see where are the weak points.
Reliability of Processes & Validation of Product/Process developments:
- Manage the transversal actions (quality, maintenance, industrialization, BE, etc.) for technical subjects.
- Measure the capabilities of existing processes and implement the actions necessary to improve or evolve them in relation to product changes.
- Take the initiative to look for cost reduction possibilities for consumables, raw materials and energy.
- Make trials in the workshop (different changes in parameters of machines etc.
- Build trial plan.
Choose solution and put it in place:
- Research and Sharing of Good Practices.
- Analyse results of trial plan and choose the appropriate solution for new process.
