Maintenance Manager - Groupe Atlantic Romania
General Mission:
Ensure the smooth running of all equipment in the factory and optimize maintenance costs and efficiency.
Activities to be carried out:
- Develop maintenance safety procedures and ensure their implementation.
- Create and manage maintenance planning for preventive, corrective, improvements, facility works.
- Carry out inspections to identify and resolve issues.
- Lead breakdown analyzes & actions plans.
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure functionality.
- Allocate workload and supervise the maintenance team.
- Monitor equipment and spare parts inventory and manage the warehouse.
- Define maintenance and facility building budget.
- Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget.
- Ensure efficient use of spare parts and equipment.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keep maintenance logs and reports regularly.
- Ensure health and safety policies are respected.
- Assist the team in the field and support employee development.
- Monitor the recording of Energy consumption.
Expected Results:
- Reduced equipment stoppage time. Define and follow in Mainti4 software KPI in link with WEGA.
- Good working conditions of machines and equipment.
Autonomy of the Position:
- Define the most appropriate time for factory stoppages together with the Plant Director.
- Repair issues based on priority and urgency.
- Prepare the annual maintenance budget.
- Participate with cost control to prepare energy consumption budget.
Monitoring Methods:
- Daily ,weekly, monthly meetings with Team Leader and Technicians.
- Performance indicators (breakdown levels, equipment availability, preventive plan, cost control, spare part availability).
- Respect of deadlines.
Scope of the Position:
- Managed employees: Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Engineers, Electrical Engineer, Warehouse Keeper, Technicians, Facility.
- Spare parts and maintenance budget responsibility.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; management experience is an advantage.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to plan maintenance operations and manage breakdowns.
- Working knowledge of machines and equipment for problem solving.
- Organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Decision-making and prioritization skills.
- Teamwork skills to maintain collective efficiency.
- Strategic and result-oriented mindset.
- Presence required during stoppage periods and restart of production lines.
- Availability during night shifts or weekends in case of emergency.
- Business trip availability for training, visit in suppliers or Sister company.
