Instrumentation and Control Supervisor (I&C)

• Guide the execution of a defined scope of work activities to increase reliability and performance, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and maintain compliance with plant design basis and regulatory requirements.
• Provide high technical expertise and guidance during the identification, investigation, and resolution of off-normal equipment conditions to ensure safe plant operations and preserve equipment design margins.
• Provide guidance in the assessment of component performance using predictive maintenance technologies to improve equipment reliability.
• Provide highly experienced technical support and guidance during complex troubleshooting activities to facilitate successful completion.
• Control and guide support in developing major equipment maintenance windows to assist Shutdown Management.
• Manage the preventive maintenance basis for components and optimize the program based on as-found conditions to make the best use of Nawah resources and promote plant reliability.
• Support and guide analyses to determine whether components meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and achieve or approach industry best practices to enhance plant reliability.
• Provide appropriate prioritization to the work backlog to ensure optimization of maintenance resources and report results to Component Engineering Management.
• Deliver toolbox talks, pre-job briefs, safety connects, and specific safety-related messages.
• Plan, organize, and execute work within the defined scope to achieve the required level of performance and productivity.
• Ensure quality standards are achieved by implementing quality procedures, advising section and quality engineers of issues with procedures and workmanship standards, and cooperating in their resolution.
• Handle all first-line disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and a sound knowledge and understanding of mechanical fitting activities, processes, company policies, and procedures.
• Control and provide guidance for the inspection and evaluation of assigned components during shutdowns to identify equipment condition and issues.
• Provide oversight of maintenance activities performed by contractors, when required, to ensure the correct use of approved procedures.
• Prepare for World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) pre-startup peer reviews to ensure effective communication.
• Provide input to procedure revisions to ensure accurate and up-to-date instructions for operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel.

Engineering Rapid Response

• Lead or support complex troubleshooting requests from Maintenance (MNT), Operations (OPS), or Engineering (ENG) departments to identify and resolve complex system or component issues.
• Lead engineering evaluations in support of Operations or Maintenance requirements to provide timely technical information.
• Conduct engineering evaluations, operability determinations, or ODMIs to ensure requirements are met effectively and within required timeframes.
• Lead the development of complex temporary modifications to meet short-term operational needs and allow the Design Department to focus on scheduled work.

Shutdown and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support

• Support shutdown activities and/or the Emergency Response Organization (ERO), as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous plant operations, including shift work or off-hours support when required.

Staff Training and Qualification

• Provide training feedback by evaluating operator performance to improve the effectiveness and quality of training and qualification programs.

Health, Safety and Security

• Follow all relevant company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure compliance and promote safe working practices for yourself and others.
• Follow all relevant security policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure the protection of personnel and corporate assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate Crisis Management and Business Continuity requirements to support the continuation of mission-critical activities.

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Nuclear Power Plant outage environment, primarily in general maintenance of equipment and primary/secondary side I&C activities.
• Components covered include, but are not limited to, solenoids, transmitters, gauges, indicators, switches, integrated system calibrations, control valves, and the calibration of transmitters and gauges.
• Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of switches, solenoids, manifolds, positioners, sensors, and indicators; corrective maintenance on instrumentation; troubleshooting; replacement of failed or degraded components; and performing control valve diagnostics and adjustments.

• Knowledge of valve operations and heavy lifting activities.
• Familiarity with MS Project and/or Primavera.
• Ability to make complex technical decisions and lead teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, including during breakdown maintenance and shutdowns.
• Management skills, including coordinating the work and activities of others.
• Thorough knowledge of nuclear or power plant safety procedures and related practices.
• Must successfully complete the approved Permit Holder test.
• Must obtain certification in mandatory safety courses, including confined space entry and high radiation exposure training.
