Mechanical Engineer - Groupe Atlantic Romania
The Industrialization Mechanical Engineer :
He participates in the design and development of new industrial equipment and develops/optimizes already existing tools as a technical referent (study of demand, production implementation, commissioning, set up, serial life).
Monitor the performance & project indicators and transfer knowledge to production teams in respect of our industrial principles and rules.
Identification of the need / Pre-study:
- Contribute to the development of the specifications in challenging the needs expressed by the internal customer
- Propose adapted technical solutions responding to the needs for improving the existing tool or new work, respecting the Atlantic Groupe standards.
- Study the technical feasibility of solutions / sub-mechanical assembly.
- Calculate, size or request suppliers to sizes, design technical solutions.
- Quote the envisaged solutions (material, workforce).
Design of a equipment’s production (Machine, automatic line) / Workshop implementation:
- Conduct design projects and lead groups of works.
- Write nomenclatures.
- Create and archive plan files, schemas.
- Choose the most appropriate supplier based on criteria of cost, safety, quality, delay.
- Chose technical solutions in order to reach the objectives (Safety,costs, quality,delay).
- Conduct technical and financial negotiations with the supplier with the help & support of indirect purchasing department.
- Develop the functional analysis in collaboration with the Industrialisation Manager and/or the customer, Supplier.
- Contribute to the development of risk analysis (Internal or with the Supplier).
- Define the appropriate safety equipment and put them in place.
Project monitoring and management:
- Implement the GA project method; project sheet, request for work.
- Build the project schedule with the, contributors, supplier, production in order to respect the commitment.
- Prepare PO in SAP after validation with his manager with the targer of invest budget commitment.
- Receive achievements from subcontractors – Ensure quality,compliance with the specifications and with the standards.
- Follow & validate the step of equipment validation before to sign the reception PV.
- Be responsible for respecting the project’s budget.
- Respect the project schedule and act with responsiveness incase of unforeseen events.
Act as Mechanical expert for the projects of new line and/or new products:
- Represent Industrial department
- Alert other teams on potential issues (delay, technical issues)
- Give feedback to his Manager, others contributors of projects.
Serial life:
- Debug and develop equipment.
- Establish the mandatory documentation, the diagramspneumatic / hydraulic /..., the records ofmaintenance / spare parts, and the user manual.
- Train the users of the equipment (production,process,) as well as the maintenance referents.
- Have the equipment approved by an organization of security approved and ensure the lifting of reservations.
- Assist the production client as an expert for implementation solutions.
- Provide internal technical support for maintenance.
Continuous improvement / Development:
- Propose and/or implement corrective actions or improvements to the request of another service.
- Make the equipment more reliable by proposing improvements.
- Propose modifications to ensure the sustainability of facilities.
- Propose investment solutions industrials.
- Ensure a technology watch to be at the forefront guards of new technologies.
- Ensure equipment’s mandatory rules monitoring.
- Maintain a local network of subcontractors in the field of mechanical manufacturing.
- Being an actor in one’s own continuing education- propose his need & wish of training.
- Education: Mechanical Engineering degree or Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering with a welding, chemical steel, background from a university.
- Relevant experience: Minimum 5 years of Solidworks and minimum 3 years of manufacturing, fabrication or related industry experience.
- General knowledge to read and interpret documents techniques, manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, prototyping), of the operation of automatic machines, of standards and machine directives, general knowledge regarding safety, hygiene, working conditions, Ergonomics.
- Extensive knowledge in CAD/CAM design /Solidworks / Autocad.
- In-depth knowledge mechanical engineering / materials.
- General knowledge of management methodology of industrialization projects.
- Comfortable with managing statistics.
- Computer knowledge: Microsoft suit, SAP.
- Knowledge of industry and its constraints.
- Knowledge of project management methods.
- Languages: English (Fluent level).
